The Operation 'D' branch, Fire and Rescue Department conducted the 'Lifesaver 995 Programme' for 30 members of Kampong Ayer Zone 2 Mukim Consultative Council, namely Kampung Setia 'A', Kampung Setia 'B', Kampung Sungai Kebun, and the Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque Takmir Committee. It was held at Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque in Kampung Setia.

The programme coincided with the handover of Fire Extinguishing Equipment for the Nationwide Grassroots Leaders Project. It was held in stages, to strengthen the role of the community as the front line in dealing with emergencies before the arrival of the Fire and Rescue personnel.

The handover of Fire Extinguishing Equipment was also held in Tutong District at Kampong Padnunok Community Hall. To-date, 43 penghulus and village heads from 13 mukims in the country have received a briefing on the 'Lifesaver 995 Programme'.
